Hermés Solidarity Xmas Tree. Presentado en el Teatro Real en Diciembre de 2025
Casa Antillón reinterpreta la figura del árbol de Navidad desde una sensibilidad contemporánea, artesanal y lúdica. Volviendo a este gran símbolo ancestral, el árbol aparece como un lugar de encuentro, deseo y curiosidad, una arquitectura del misterio en torno a la cual se reúne la comunidad, un espacio donde depositar la ilusión, la espera y la imaginación compartida.
La pieza está construida en madera de abedul y acompañada por elementos de cerámica esmaltada, trabajados junto a un grupo de artesanos que imprimen su huella en cada fragmento. Su forma triangular, casi primitiva, remite al dibujo infantil del árbol: una geometría universal que, al fragmentarse, se transforma en un puzle doméstico, capaz de descomponerse en pequeños muebles, taburetes o cajas que pueden habitar la casa durante todo el año.
Como un calendario de adviento tridimensional, el árbol guarda secretos en su interior: puertas, cavidades y tiradores que invitan al descubrimiento lento, a la curiosidad compartida, a la emoción de abrir una ventana y revelar algo oculto. Solidarity Christmas Tree propone un reencuentro con la artesanía y la casa como lugares de unión, con la materia trabajada desde la cercanía y el cuidado. Es un árbol que celebra los afectos, la espera y los pequeños gestos que sostienen la vida en común.

Returning to this great ancestral symbol, the tree appears as a place of encounter, desire, and curiosity—an architecture of mystery around which the community gathers, a space in which to place hope, anticipation, and shared imagination.
The piece is constructed from birch wood and accompanied by glazed ceramic elements, developed together with a group of artisans who leave their mark on each fragment. Its triangular, almost primitive form recalls the childlike drawing of a tree: a universal geometry that, once fragmented, transforms into a domestic puzzle, capable of breaking down into small pieces of furniture, stools, or boxes that can inhabit the home throughout the year.
Like a three-dimensional Advent calendar, the tree holds secrets within: doors, cavities, and handles that invite slow discovery, shared curiosity, and the excitement of opening a window to reveal something hidden. The Solidarity Christmas Tree proposes a reconnection with craftsmanship and the home as places of togetherness, with materials shaped through closeness and care. It is a tree that celebrates affection, anticipation, and the small gestures that sustain life in common.
