El Cometa.
Hace un millón de años, en esta parte del mundo, el magma brotó bajo el fondo del mar. Con los días, aquella masa incandescente rebasó la superficie del agua, chocó con el aire y se congeló. De este modo, el fuego pasó a ser tierra. Y esta tierra, tallada por el aire y la lluvia, tomó forma y se llamó isla.
El resultado de este acontecimiento extraordinario es el paisaje. Un trozo de tierra viva, porque en su interior esconde fuego, rodeado por el océano y cubierto de cielo. Es en este encuentro de elementos donde se desarrolla nuestra intervención en LAVA Circular. Una instalación que libera un trozo de paisaje y lo convierte en nube. Del mismo modo que hace un millón de años la roca dejó de ser fuego. Es ahora el momento de perseguirla, de imaginarnos respuestas en nuestra relación con el entorno más fluido que rocoso, un entorno que se erosiona y se infla con nuestro paso. “Cometa” nos propone caminar en compañía, compartir nuestra existencia desde el movimiento, manera olvidada pero contemporánea de reencontrarnos con el afuera.
Siguiendo el movimiento del viento, en esta dirección de lo profundo a lo inmenso. Las piedras de la isla de El Hierro se juntan, formando un paisaje complejo y fosilizado en una piedra que de cerca, oculta mensajes de nuestro tiempo. Ahora vuela rumbo al cielo, va y viene, y cierra su ciclo con las llamas que aúnan la experiencia colectiva.
