DOMÉSTICA-FICCIÓN es una exposición que continúa nuestra andadura artística vinculada al ámbito doméstico. La casa, un lugar al que creíamos estar acostumbrados, se ha revelado curiosamente desconocida. Una observación sobre la que reflexionamos y experimentamos a través de los límites de la performatividad del espacio expositivo: emulando una escena doméstica, convirtiendo la Sala IE CreativityCenter en una casa ficticia acompañada de objetos mutantes y transfigurados. Mediante esta decisión, el visitante, el habitante y nosotros mismos nos cuestionamos la relación evidente entre la casa y sus objetos; asombrándonos del extrañamiento consecuente a contextualizar estos en un lugar inesperado; recordando -obligados- un momento pasado de delirio en nuestros hogares; e imaginándonos, en definitiva, nuevas formas de entender una casa y una exposición.
DOMESTIC FICTIONS is an exhibition that continues our artistic journey linked to the domestic sphere. The house, a place we thought we were used to, has revealed itself curiously unknown. An observation on which we reflect and experiment through the limits of the performativity of the exhibition space: emulating a domestic scene, turning the IE CreativityCenter Room into a fictional house accompanied by mutating and transfigured objects. Through this decision, the visitor, the inhabitant, and ourselves question the obvious relationship between the house and its objects; amazed at the estrangement resulting from contextualizing these in an unexpected place; remembering -forced- a past moment of delirium in our homes; and imagining, in short, new ways of understanding a house and an exhibition.
